The updated Safety Award Pin is earned by following a five step process for staying safe, tailored to Girl Scout Juniors. The color of the cross on the pin corresponds to the Junior grade level color. Imported. Girl Scout badges, awards and other insignia that are earned for the accomplishments of skill building activities or any set requirements should be presented, worn or displayed only after Girl Scouts have completed the requirements outlined in the appropriate program materials.
